Has anybody else lost track of what day it is? This quarantine life has all of the days blurring together. But I’m ok with it because I’ve found that more than ever, I’m living in the present moment. Sometimes I’ve struggled with this — instead always planning for the future or reminiscing about the past. But it’s been a gift to just be in the moment. My kids have taught me this over the years (they’re good at it) and now this quarantine life has really emphasized it. Another time I’m really good at being in the moment is when I am taking photos. Nothing matters during a session, except capturing the moment between family. Perhaps this is why I love photography so much — I’m just truly in the moment with my clients. It’s one of the reasons I love photography so much, my heart longs to be in the moment. My quarantine time has brought this truth so apparent to me.
